Is there a free DocFly alternative with no export limit?
Mediaextractr is free with no sign-up, no daily limits and no watermark for its PDF tools, including merge, split, compress, rotate, sign and fill forms. It cannot edit existing PDF text, convert Word to PDF or run OCR.
Does DocFly upload my files?
Yes. Its security page says files are sent over an encrypted connection to Amazon S3 in Ireland, that staff are not allowed to view them, and that deleting a file in the app removes it permanently at once. Mediaextractr never uploads your files.
Can I edit PDF text without DocFly?
Not the original text. Mediaextractr can add text, annotate, sign, fill forms and redact, but it cannot rewrite existing text. DocFly itself describes covering text with a whiteout and typing over it.
Does DocFly need an account?
Its homepage says you can export up to 3 free documents a month with no sign-up. Subscribing happens through an account with a My Account page for cancelling. Mediaextractr needs no account at all.
